Hailey’s Crib

I’ve been pushing my luck.  Hailey loves it when I make the rocketship noise and hold her up to look down at me.  She has a huge smile, crinkles up her face and ‘laughs’, and arches her back.

This morning before I left for work [note: I was wearing a nice blue button down shirt] I picked her up from Andrea’s lap, kissed her goodbye, and performed the above described stunt.  Except this time she puked.  All.  Over.  Me.

A little in my mouth?  Check.

Face?  Check. 

Past my undershirt onto my chest?  Check.

Undershirt?  Check.

Nice blue work shirt?  Check.

So I changed into a freshly wrinkled shirt, and went off to work.  I’m sure I’ll pick her up and do it again, just to see that smile she gets.

I’ll never learn….., until maybe when she’s eating solid food.

Hailey loves to run errands.  Today we went out before the snow (!) started.  We went to the library, where they wouldn’t break a $20 bill to pay my $2 fines….  Then we went to Polcari’s to get some delicious hazelnut coffee for Daddy… then we went to the hardware store and the Beanstock for a hot chocolate.  Hailey loves riding around in her Baby Bjorn, though she wishes it wasn’t so cold out so she could face forward. 

On a side note, Mom, I tried to put her in her purple LL Bean snowsuit today, and it’s STILL too big!  So much for it being newborn to 3 months!
