Hailey’s Crib

Ugh.  Heat waves and babies are not a good combo.  I’m sure it’s worse for my friends who are due in August, but keeping a teething almost 6 month old happy in over 90 degree heat is almost impossible!  I had to go out and buy a new bottle of Tylenol today because we ran out since we were giving 2 doses a day (minimum). 

 The funny part about her teething is that she will chew on just about anything!  She chews on her toys, her clothes, her parents’ fingers, their clothes.  She chews on coffee cups and even beer bottles….. 

Bad mommy!  Of COURSE I don’t drink coffee or beer! 

 We’re going to week 3 of her Caterpillars class today.  That’s at Isis Maternity- one of my favorite places to visit!  Hailey likes seeing the other babies and it’s helping her rudimentary crawling skills.  She scoots right towards them when I put her down.  This week is a discussion on baby health and illnesses….  The leader has already told me that I will be “coteaching” the class!  Eek!
